Dr. Natalie Harrower is the Manager of Education and Outreach for the Digital Repository of Ireland, located at the Royal Irish Academy. In this capacity, she is responsible for developing and delivering a skills training programme for DRI stakeholders, liaising with various partners, and connecting with the public through workshops and social media. She is also developing partnerships with Irish cultural institutions and European organisations involved in digital humanities, digital preservation and digital curation.
A theatre and film scholar by training, Natalie has taught undergraduate students and later-life learners at the Celtic Studies Programme and the Cinema Studies Institute at the University Toronto, and at the Department of Drama, Queen’s University (Canada). She has organized several international conferences, helped to programme film festivals, published articles on theatre and film, and directed plays for the theatre. A research position on the Internationalisation of Irish Drama project at Trinity College Dublin brought her to Ireland, and she started with the DRI in September 2012.
