Jennifer Edmond

Jennifer comes to NLP very much from the user’s, rather than the developer’s perspective.  Although trained in a very traditional PhD programme and field (with a specialisation in German Literature of the 19th Century), she became an early adopter among her peers of technological tools and methods.  Eventually she left the field of literature to work more centrally in digital humanities, focussing in particular in the collaborative and interdisciplinary requirements of the field.  She contributes to a number of large-scale EU projects, including eCloud and NeDiMAH, and coordinates the FP7 research infrastructure project CENDARI.
